It’s impossible to reach for joy without taking the risk of experiencing disappointment-or at times, utter despair. To avoid potential misery at all costs is to avoid life itself.

But no matter how broken we may feel, there is one truth above all.

Spirit remains intact.

The only thing that has fallen apart is the shell you have constructed around you. The shattering is an opportunity to remember  your real self, once again.
