Pretending to know where you’re going and exactly how you’ll get there may feel like you are in control. But this is only an illusion. An interesting life rarely works this way.

It isn’t so black and white. Much time may be spent fumbling in the grays and therein lies the gift.

This is the space in which self-discovery is made possible. It is the space of unfolding and from which unfamiliar and unexpected beauty has a chance to emerge.

Only in the gray can you learn to trust yourself.
