There is power in a pause. In cultures that are obsessed with movement, this is easily forgotten (even during a pandemic). You may be made to feel that you are “not on your game” or falling behind. That may lead to a sense of guilt or shame
To momentarily pause or to have an extended period of stillness is your right. It gives you the opportunity to recalibrate. In this space, you can realign then resume your activity with renewed meaning. Or, be confident in finding another activity that resonates.
