I loved the idea you discussed about how when children are small, they don’t let themselves feel narrowed or defined to choose one thing among their many interests. I really relate to this as an adult of wanting to synthesize my varied background and interests, but not always knowing how. Feeling like I should just focus on one thing only even though I have different loves in life, because I get tangled up and fearful in how it sounds to others. I’m slowly learning to go towards things that light me up, no matter if they always make sense to even me at the time. The shift that you spoke about in how to view potential is just beautiful.
