It’s incredibly easy to slip into the habit of comparison. We see somebody else in a space we wish to be in ourselves. It can set off a cascade of questions concerning our ability and ultimately, our worth.
If you are the type of person who finds power in your unique gifts, then you may be inspired by looking at another’s story.
If you are not aware of or comfortable with your individuality, you will either shut down or contort yourself to fit the molds of others.
Use caution when you notice someone else’s blessings. Decide to take the route that allows you to be kind yourself. The other path benefits no one.
Tweet this: Comparison and self-compassion can not co-exist in the same space.
